WHAT IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Certificate of professional Competence CPC is a requirement for professional drivers from 7.5 tonne upwards for lorry’s and D1 minibus and upwards for carriage of passengers, unless the organisation has a valid exemption. 

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE ENTAIL?

For professional drivers to gain their initial CPC qualification they need to undertake 2 modules. Firstly module 2 CPC case studies which is a theory test which is sat at a theory test centre. The second is a module 4 practical demonstration test conducted at a practical test centre.

This is valid then for 5 years, before the 5 years are up drivers need to complete their CPC periodic to keep it up to date and stay legal on the road.
